Giesecke + Devrient

UX/UI Design

Aug 2021 – Present

At Giesecke + Devrient we played a pivotal role in transforming an existing winform applications into a modern, single-page, responsive Blazor web application. This migration resulted in a 50% increase in user engagement and a 30% improvement in overall customer satisfaction.

We spearheaded user research efforts to shape product strategy, including conducting contextual inquiries, user interviews, and usability testing. These insights helped us identify user pain points and inform design decisions, ultimately reducing development time by 40% and increasing feature adoption by 20%.

By creating detailed user journey maps and high-fidelity mock-ups in Figma, we ensured a seamless transition from concept to implementation. Our front-end development work streamlined the process, reducing bugs by 10% and improving the overall user experience.

Accessibility remained a core focus throughout the project. We ensured compliance with accessibility standards, making the application inclusive and user-friendly for a diverse audience.

A key aspect of this project was the close collaboration between our design team, product managers, and developers. By integrating user feedback directly into the product development process, we ensured that every design element addressed real user needs and business goals.

By fostering a collaborative and agile working environment, we were able to continuously iterate and improve the application. This iterative process allowed us to deliver a product that not only met immediate client needs but also provided a scalable foundation for future growth.
